BBC News Day 2009

On Thursday 26th March 2009, a group of Year 8 pupils took part in the BBC National School Report Day. The budding reporters spent the day with BBC Sports Reporter, Mark Tulip planning, writing and creating a full news broadcast.

Thursday 13th March 2008

On Thursday 13th March 2008, a group of Year 8 pupils took part in Marden's ever popular BBC News Day. The budding reporters spent the day planning, writing and creating a news report that they broadcast that afternoon.

On Tuesday 4th March, BBC technology correspondant, Rory Cellan-Jones came into Marden to report on the uses of mobile phones. Throughout the day, he and his team worked with Year 8 pupils to create a report on the mobile internet revolution and its place in the school.
